Manager Quality Operations - (2102490)

Job Overview

Manage Quality functions offshore coordination, Welding, E&I, Painting, Dimensional Control, onshore site coordination, Material Receiving inspection, certification and vendor inspection coordination. Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Quality Management (Manpower Planning, Vision & Strategy, Quality Improvement Initiatives, Performance Quality and continuous improvement). Demonstrate knowledge & experience in the Quality techniques for improvement that addresses prevention, problem solving, root cause analysis (RCA), quality training, pefformance metrics, objectives & targets, goal setting.

Liaise with Senior Manager Quality Operations, PQMs, Site Quality Managers, All Discipline Leads/Supervisors within QA/QC function, Human Resources and supervise Functional QAQC Leads / Supervisors in offshore coordination, Welding, E&l, Painting, Dimensional Control, onshore site coordination, Material Receiving inspection, certification and vendor inspection coordination. This includes Marine, Fabrication Shops, Fabrication Yard and onshore site scope of work

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Responsible for the overall Quality manpower planning in the organization for Fabrication shops/Yard activities, onshore construction and offshore activities.
Responsible for QAQC manpower recruitment process.
Manage and Provide technical support to Quality functions offshore coordination, Welding, E&l, Painting,
Dimensional Control, onshore site coordination, Material Receiving inspection, ceåification and vendor inspection coordination as required.
Plan manpower and resource requirements for project scope utilizing in-house resources and take necessary steps to reduce subcontract personnel hire.
Conduct manpower planning meetings with Quality functional Leads and publish manpower plan periodically Closely monitor effective utilization of manpower deployed in all areas.
Plan and support al/ QC activities including Major Work Barges, Hook-Up Support Vessel, Fabrication shops, Fabrication Yard, onshore site, Vendors / Suppliers and regional coating yards.
Plan and Recruit Quality personnel and develop a high pefforming QA/QC team with talents. Monitor performance appraisal.
Emphasis & Drive Pefformance Quality to ensure efficiency & effectiveness within the process to deliver ''First Time Quality''
Develop and Implement effective problem solving techniques that prevents recurrence of defects.
Promote quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conduct.
Ensuring that the training needs of quality department personne/ are identified and actioned upon within budgetary controls placed on function.
Liaise with various leads on Welding Engineering, Inspection, NDT and Certification functions for the project.
Oversee the KPI, QI and Performance Quality process and trend analysis.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor''s in Engineering in Mechanical or Structural or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
Total 20 yrs. experience with 10+ yrs. Quality Assurance experience.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications

Master''s in Business or Quality Management.
