Role Purpose:



The Logistics Associate Manager will be responsible for managing the overall supply chain and logistics operations of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. The role will be responsible for managing and improving the end-to-end processes to ensure a seamless flow of products across the entire supply chain efficiently and cost effectively to meet the business objectives while complying with all the rules and regulations.



Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Customer



Implement the supply chain strategic business plans, covering the entire spectrum from inbound shipment, fine-distribution, and reverse logistics.
Manage, maintain, and develop strong relationships to ensure timely stock movement of product in accordance with contractual obligations and service levels and stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
Plan and manage resources, tools and warehouse capacities to meet the business objectives.
Conduct Risk assessment and mitigation planning exercises.
UpToDate with all required domestic delivery systems as well as international and domestic air/marine carrier and delivery systems.
Negotiate with air/marine carriers for the best possible rates, and to find ways to continually improve the overall cost of air/marine shipping.
Lead the digital initiatives and the process automation to drive efficiencies and decisions based on data.
Monitor and manage the business KPIs, the contractual obligations and SLAs with our partners.
Monitor and optimize all the landed cost factors to meet the business objectives.
Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.

Provide exemplary customer service to all stakeholders by providing relevant and timely information for sound business decisions.
Maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with Third Party Logistics - 3PL where required to ensure that both internal and external stakeholders are in line with MAF Deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience



Qualifications / Education

Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain/logistics or relevant field.
Experience

7 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics.
Exposure to international and regional logistics regulatory requirements knowledge
