Local Unit & Position Description:
You will help clients in the Middle East to implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. You will get the opportunity to lead and develop the work on a wide range of sustainability services from strategy, training, carbon markets, safety, health & environment to reporting and assurance.


You will be expected to support the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of sustainability services and may have speciality and expertise in several of them, including:

Perform Verification of CDM, JI and ETU
Perform Verification of Corporate Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Carbon footprint against Airport Carbon Standard;
Voluntary Carbon Offset Program: Qualified Validator/Verifier/Technical Reviewer for Clean Development Mechanism/Verified Carbon Standard projects;
Perform site visits to review and verify on-site conditions and data;
Benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, and support to companies’ governance arrangements for sustainability;
Sustainability report writing and/or Sustainability report assurance;
Environmental and Social Due Diligence services;
Execution of second party review and verification project on KPIs, such as GHG, potable water use, waste management; Human rights;
Training and capacity building on sustainability; Stakeholder engagement;
Supply chain management and/or supply chain audit on Labour & Human right, Business Ethics, Environment, Health & Safety
Human Resource, Business Ethics. Environment or Health & Safety
Business Development and proposal/RFP response development;
You will be expected to lead / support project teams as well as helping to grow our business through the following activities:

Proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions and selling these to new and existing clients;
Leading or supporting projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards;
Leading and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients;
Introducing services from your own/existing discipline(s) to new clients and new services to existing clients;
Writing thought leadership for the team to be published internally and externally.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor degree with 6-10 years in HSE, Environmental Engineering with minimum work experience in sustainability, voluntary carbon market advisory and/or environmental consulting;
Experience in Environmental and Social Due Diligence, Green/Sustainable Finance desirable;
A strong interest and demonstrable experience in corporate sustainability and related areas;
Proven track record in sales and business development, ideally within a consultancy environment;
Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence;
Outstanding communicator, with excellent leadership skills;
Ability to work in an international team, delivering and leading teams to produce high quality deliverables on time and in budget;
Mature and able to take strategic discussion with Senior Management;
Ability to lead multiple projects in parallel, often with conflicting demands and timelines;
Willingness to travel and work around MEA (including Turkey) and other locations when required.
