We are looking for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as a front desk receptionist for a therapy facility. In this position, you will greet guests entering the facility and help direct them where they need to go. In addition, you’ll be responsible for answering and managing the phones, promoting all areas of the facility are crucial whilst supporting the administrative function of the business operations. Accountable for the delivering excellent customer service with a welcoming approach as the first point of contact for guests, members, colleagues and third-party suppliers
High school leaving certificate
Responsible for maintaining knowledge in all aspects of the gym and therapy operations promoting all our services and offerings including clinicians/trainers, promotions, events and more
Accountable for all monetary transactions (cash, credit cards, cheques etc) ensuring they are handled with care and accurately and are logging promptly
Responsible for handling keys (door keys, locker keys etc) with care and accuracy
Ensure customer complaints are handled with empathy and excellent communication, escalating if necessary
Responsible for maintaining an inventory of consumables, supplies and retail items submitting monthly reports
Responsible for recruiting new members including follow up calls, registration, payment, induction and onboarding communication with accuracy and efficiency
Ensure safety of all guests, members and colleagues by reporting out of order machines for maintenance or repair
Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of contact records kept for suppliers, contractors, colleagues and instructors
Ensure open communication with other team members treating them with integrity and respect
Assist with any other duties as requested by your line manager or another member of the senior management team
Must follow reception SOP’s

Education & Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in a guest facing customer service role
Excellent communication and computer skills
