What you will be doing

1. Organizational:
Follow all relevant accounting policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

2. Operational:
Implement activities under close supervision

Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in timely a manner

A- Accounts Payable
i. Review AP ageing and inquire AP teams about aged balances.
ii. Ensure proper accruals for inter-company expenses

B- Sales & Collection, Rents and Reporting:
i. Review COH schedules prepared by retail collections team and inquire about outstanding balances
ii. Ensure old variances are escalated and resolved.

C- Accounts Receivable:
i. Review AR ageing reports and request updates from the AR team.
ii. Review ECL calculations and compare it with policy provisions.
D- Reporting
i. Prepare all balance sheet schedules by the due date.
ii. Follow up with respective finance teams on timely reversals of accruals.
iii. Prepare audit schedules to facilitate audits.
iv. Keep track of audit outstanding lists and provide daily update to Group Head of Accounting and Finance
v. Prepare financial statements in word format and share with the auditors.
What you''ll need to succeed

University Degree in Accounting.

A fully or partially qualified ACCA/CPA candidate.

0-2 years of experience in Auditing/Accounting field.
